Our founder Late Jyotindranath Ghosh purchased a sweet shop from Dass & Co. which was located at 22/1,Bidhan Sarani,Kolkata-700007.

 After his death in 1967,his five sons jointly became the owners of the shop.In their mutual settlement his three youngest sons Mr.Manik Lal Ghosh, Mr.Kartick Chandra Ghosh and Mr.Ganesh Chandra Ghosh became the owners of the sweet shop and named it Ghosh & Co.;a partnership firm.

With the best of their efforts they developed the quality of their products which were mainly pure milk products.They also started making various types of namkeen,mawa sweets and many more.

In the year 2000,the first branch at 86 Raja Ram Mohan Roy Sarani,Kolkata-700009 was established and in the year 2014 the second branch of the sweet shop was started at 32,Keshab Chandra Sen Street,Kolkata-700009.

The third generation of the family is now in the management of the shop i.e. Mr.Kausik Chandra Ghosh ,Mr.Manindranath Ghosh and Mr.Prasenjit Ghosh.Different varieties of sweets like chocolate sandesh,strawberry sandesh,malai roll,rose ice-cream sandesh,black current sandesh,all Bengali traditional sweets like rosogolla,mishti dahi,sandesh and some snacks like nimki kachori and radhaballavi are available in the shop.We also make our special kesar kulfi.
